Since 3PV’s incorporation in 2000, the company has handled more than 19 million third party verifications (TPVs), taking pride in its reputation as one of the most reliable companies in the telecommunications industry. With a mission to deliver consistently superior verification results to the most demanding of customers, the company is committed to innovating TPV technology while delivering a hands-on approach to satisfying customer needs.

3PV developed its first automated TPV solutions in 1999 by a special request from Sprint®, which was unhappy with IVR-based TPV but wanted the advantages of an automated solution. By July 2000, the first 3PV speech enabled solution was installed in a Sprint call center. Inspired by the success of this rollout, 3PV engineers worked to extend the flexibility of the software to allow multiple rules sets and multiple scripts to meet the needs of different industries. By 2001, development was advanced enough to deploy speech enabled solutions to other customers.

3PV continues to create efficient solutions tailored to clients’ needs. In 2004, eLOA (electronic Letter Of Authorization) was launched as a web based alternative to traditional TPVs. The perfect solution for online orders, eLOA is currently being utilized by Vonage as well as several other voice providers. 3PV pioneered TPV in the VoIP industry and was poised and ready when 911 became an FCC focal point in 2005. With the entire customer base of every VoIP provider at risk of being switched off by the FCC, 3PV quickly provided a solution that enabled numerous VoIP companies to comply with the E911 acknowledgement mandate. 3PV’s solution was utilized by more than half of the country’s VoIP customers within a two month time frame.

In 2006, 3PV deployed a cutting edge signature solution that can be used to authorize term agreements, SLAs, internal documents, or any other type of documentation that requires a wet signature. Originally marketed to the communications industry, AssureSign® has been welcomed by various industries and is seemingly a rare universal application. As with all of 3PV’s products, the application continues to evolve to satisfy a broader range of clients.
